31st Parade of Christmas Trees coming soon

The Parade of Christmas Trees which hundreds have seen each December for more than 30 years can be enjoyed at First National Bank of Tennessee, 1386 North Main Street, Crossville—one of the most anticipated events of the holiday season. Drop in anytime Wednesday, December 2 –Thursday, December 24 during regular bank hours Monday thru Thursday 8:00 – 4:30; Friday 8:00 – 5:00, and Saturday 8:00 – 12:00 to view two floors of stunning, dazzling beauty. There is no end to the creative and imaginative decorating skills and efforts of participants, guaranteeing no two trees will be alike. Many decorations and ornaments have been created just for the Parade of Christmas Trees. Expect the unexpected—you won’t find these anywhere else. Attendance is free to everyone. Be sure to bring the children.
A special viewing will be held Friday, December 4th from 5:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Three Best of Class winning entries will be announced from the three categories: schools, churches, and civic clubs. Approximately 50 trees have been entered by a variety of contestants. The public is welcome to this event and to learn who they have selected as the best of the best.
Last year’s winners were: VFW and Ladies’ Auxiliary; Cornerstone Baptist Church; and Cumberland County High School Garden Club.
The Parade of Christmas Trees event is sponsored by Top Town Garden Club, chaired by Mary Shelby, and First National Bank of Tennessee.
One of the new participants, Cumberland Artisans for Creative Expression (CACE), joins and supports this event for the first time. CACE is a 501(c)(3) volunteer not-for-profit organization. CACE’s mission is to identify, support, and encourage the varied artistic and creative groups encompassing visual arts, performing arts, and literary arts of Cumberland County.
