The Fairfield Glade Community Club Election Committee has announced that two Property Owner Director At-Large positions are open for election in 2012.
Interested Fairfield Glade property owners are advised that applications for candidacy in the 2012 Board of Directors election will be available at the Fairfield Glade Administration Office on Peavine Road during the period of June 1 to June 22.
Interested applicants may also call (931) 484-3780 to receive an application by mail. All candidates must apply utilizing the official application packet.
Any member “in good standing” who has or will have owned real property at Fairfield Glade for at least three years prior to the Annual Meeting (September 21, 2012) is eligible for election.
“In good standing” is defined as not being delinquent with respect to payment of dues, fees, and assessments. Potential candidates must be willing to attend all Board meetings and give additional time as required to prepare for Board meetings.
Community Club By-Laws also preclude any employee of the Club, whether designated as full time, part time, temporary, seasonal, or other category, from holding the position of Director At-Large.
Applicants must complete the “Application For FFG Community Club Board of Directors At-Large Position” packet provided by the Board, which will include a signed statement of personal information validating current residence; a signed statement absolving the candidate of any fiduciary relationship with FGCC; a completed 400-word biographical statement; answers to select questions; and a recent photo.
The deadline for submitting applications to the Election Committee is 5 p.m., Friday, June 22.
Specific instructions for submission are contained in the packet.
A town hall meeting will be held on Monday, July 30, to allow voting members the opportunity to meet the candidates.
Ballots will be mailed to eligible voting members the week of August 6 and must be returned no later than Friday, September 7.
Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on Sept. 21.
