This newborn fawn, literally born that day, surprised Glade resident Mr. Owens and even his 13-year-old Maltese, Happy. Ready to take on the world, the youngster wobbled up to Happy to meet his acquaintance on “The Bluffs” of Fairfield Glade last Wednesday.

Much to their surprise, Glade resident Mike Hood saw this little guy swimming around in Lake Dartmoor at their dock several days ago. Its not often an otter is spotted in these parts, but he was evidently interested in what was going on up on land.
