For The Vista
You may not want to miss the next few weeks of the Public Safety Chief Randy Hoover’s Report. He will be answering some of the most often asked questions that he have received from the public in the upcoming weeks.
Who knows, the question he answers may be the one that you have asked. He says he will try to answer one question each week!
Question of the week: What is the importance of calling the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch with suspicious activity or crime in the Fairfield Glade area, and what is the number that I should call?
Answer: Reporting suspicious activity and crime of any type through Cumberland County Central Communications allows the police the ability to track activity within a given area better because they always assign a tracking number to the call (All calls can be tracked by this number).
If you have a need for the Fairfield Glade Public Safety Department to respond to a call and it is not an emergency, you should call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department Central Communications at 931-484-6176. The Cumberland County Central Dispatch Office then will dispatch Fairfield Glade Public Safety Officers to the call if it is in the Fairfield Glade area.
If you only need to talk to a Fairfield Glade Public Safety Officer, call 931-484-3785.
