For The Vista
Jack Scheife’s Art of Cooking Demo includes food preparation, recipe sharing, and a tasty lunch.
For his February cooking demo at the Plateau Creative Arts Center, Jack Scheife has chosen a new menu that brings warmth and comfort to the palate and soul.
Jack will first prepare a unique pizza appetizer followed by bread preparation that includes two kinds of five minute bread and a slow-cooker bread.
Then Jack will move to main course: a surprisingly easy and scrumptious chili. The finale will be a delicious homemade dessert.
Jack’s Art of Cooking Demo is scheduled for Saturday, Monday, February 10, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at a cost of $23 for Art Guild members and $28 for non-members. The cooking demo, recipes, and lunch of pizza, chili, breads, and dessert are all included.
Jack will demo as much of the menu as possible, but due to limited time and kitchen space, Jack will pre-make some of the items.
For all items, Jack will share preparation tips, recipes and Q&A.
After the demonstration, Scheife and the class participants will enjoy a scrumptious lunch of demo food.
Class participants are asked to bring the following items from home: a bowl for the chili, a spoon, and also pencil and paper for taking notes.
