Each month the Fairfield Glade Dog Park Association will feature one of the many dogs who regularly visit the Dog Park. We hope you enjoy this new feature.
Our “Dog of the Month” for September is Mocha, a 9 month old Havanese puppy. Mocha is owned by Marian Sherwood.
“Recently my children decided my older dog, Spikey, needed a friend,” explained Marian. “That’s how Mocha came to live with us.” Mocha is quite playful and loves to play “chase me” with the other dogs in the park. According to Marian, she and Spikey get along quite well, mainly because Spikey lets her get away with anything she wants.
The Fairfield Glade Dog Park is open to FFG residents and visitors daily, dawn to dusk. It is located behind the Community Club offices on Peavine Road. There are sections for small dogs, large dogs, and a section for special needs humans and/or dogs. When visiting the Park, please adhere to the guidelines listed on the signs outside the entrances. Did you know? The Havanese Dog is the national dog of Cuba. Their coats shed very little.
