Fairfield Glade Lions Club share donations with people in need

The Fairfield Glade Lions Club has five programs each year that are used to raise contributions-Cheese Sale, Golf Tournament, Reverse Raffle, Travelogue and White Cane Days.
Each year, 100% of the funds collected are used to help children and adults who are in financial need. All Administrative expenses for running the Club are paid entirely through dues from members.
Nearly $42,000 was available this past fiscal year for benevolences to the various programs listed below:

Total = $41,809
Overall, 6,856 children in nine Cumberland County Schools, the Phoenix School, 3 Christian Schools, 4 Head Start Schools and 3 Private Schools were tested for sight and hearing this past year. It took a total of 1,292 Lion hours from many dedicated members to complete.
Some of the Agencies included in the “Lions State & National Projects” include: Tennessee School for the Blind, Tennessee School for the Deaf, World Cataract Foundation, District 12-0 Sight Services, Leader Dog for the Blind and District 12-0 Eye Bank Services.
You can be assured that donations to the Fairfield Glade Lions Club will be used for great causes and functions. The Lions encourage you to become a member of this worthy organization and donate a few hours of your time to help others in our community.
The Fairfield Glade Lions Club meets on the First & Third Mondays of each month except for holidays and during the months with a Travelogue. During those times only one meeting is held on the third Monday.
