The 2014 Fairfield Glade Treasure Hunt is set for Friday, September 5.
This has always been a fun evening for those who enjoy puzzle solving, figuring out clues or just having a good time.
The treasure hunt is limited to 20 cars with 4 people per car. Participants will gather at the Druid Hills Golf Club parking lot at 5 P.M. on the night of the hunt.
There they will be given a set of clues and an explanation of how the hunt is to be conducted. All clues will lead to a certain destination in the Glade, with a total of 10 clues to be solved. The final clue will lead participants to a secret destination where food and beverages will be served and prizes awarded to the three top finishers.
Participants should bring a Fairfield Glade site map, USA road map, a map of Europe with country names and capitals, pencils with erasers, something to write on (clipboard), flash lights or headlamps, and a cell phone if you have one. Smart phones can be very helpful.
The cost is $24 per car. Call your friends and neighbors and make arrangements for a fun evening. For more information or to make reservations, call Mike/Susan Spitler (707-0452) or Larry/Connie Dove (250–1013).
Make checks payable to Susan Spitler and mail to 223 Lakewood Dr., Fairfield Glade, TN 38558.
All money and names must be in no later than Aug.29.
