The Fairfield Glade Community Club Election Committee reminds all Fairfield Glade property owners that the filing period to run for election for the Property Owner Director At-Large position is now open.
The deadline for submitting applications to the Election Committee is 5:00 p.m. CDT, Friday, June 22, 2012.
All candidates must apply utilizing the official application form, which is available at the Fairfield Glade Administration Office on Peavine Road.
Interested applicants may also call (931) 484-3780 to receive an application by mail. Completed applications must be delivered to the Community Club Administration Office on Peavine Road or mailed to the Election Committee utilizing the Community Club’s post office address.
However, applicants may wish to deliver their applications to the Community Club to insure receipt before the closing deadline.
Any member “in good standing” who has or will have owned real property at Fairfield Glade for at least three (3) years prior to the annual meeting (September 21, 2012) is eligible for election.
“In good standing” is defined as not being delinquent with respect to payment of dues, fees, and assessments.
Community Club By-Laws also preclude any employee of the Club, whether designated as full time, part time, temporary, seasonal, or other category, from holding the position of At-Large Director.
Applicants must complete the “Application for Glade Community Club Board of Directors At-Large Position” packet provided by the Community Club, which will include a signed statement of personal information validating current residence; a signed statement absolving the candidate of any fiduciary relationship with FFGCC; a biographical statement; answers to select questions; and a recent photograph.
Specific instructions for submission are contained in the application.
A town hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at the Fairfield Glade Community Center to allow voting members the opportunity to meet the candidates.

Ballots will be mailed to eligible voting members during the week of August 6th, and must be returned no later than September 7, 2012.
Election results will be announced at the September 21, 2012, Annual Meeting.
