All former Ohio residents, spouses and guests, mark your calendar for Saturday, August 24, to attend a day of fun and fellowship.
The fun begins with an 18-hole scramble at Heatherhurst on the Brae course. Only 10 tee times are available, starting at 8:30 a.m. to 9:51 p.m. (First come, first served.)
Entry fee for golf is $3 per person. Pay your green fees at the pro shop on August 24th. Bring your team’s score card to the picnic for prizes.
Registration for the picnic begins at 4 P.M. at St. George marina pavilion with BYOB social hour. The dinner buffet is provided by Fortes’ restaurant starting around 5 P.M., featuring beef burgundy, chicken alfredo with pasta, roasted red potatoes and mixed vegetable medley.
Your registration and check must be submitted before August 17th. No refunds after this date.

• The 14th annual Southern States Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd at the Art Circle Public Library in Crossville.
Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. All who attend can look forward to an enjoyable social hour, great entertainment and a catered dinner. Cost is $11 per person.
The reservation deadline is July 23rd or until sold out.
You qualify as a “Southerner” if anyone in your household is originally from or has lived for some years in one of the following: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia.
