The Fairfield Glade Rotary Club’s annual golf tournament will be June 22, 2013 at Heatherhurst Brae Course.
The 8 A.M. shotgun start will include many skill competitions, hole-in-one prizes and flight prizes.
After a fun filled day of golf, lunch will be served on the patio and prizes awarded.
The entry fee is $70 per person ($140 per team), which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and prizes.

P.O.E.T.S. Golf Club Spring 2013 Invitational
The P.O.E.T.S. Golf Club of Fairfield Glade would like to remind all golfers that the Spring 2013 Invitational is being held on May 30 thru June 1 and entries are currently being accepted.
The deadline for acceptance is Saturday, May 18 or the date when the entry limit of 72 teams is reached. Over two-thirds of the field is already filled and teams must get their entry in as soon as possible to guarantee your place in the Invitational. Again the event will start on Thursday afternoon, May 30 at 2 P.M. with the putting contest. Your entry fee covers participation in the putting contest.
Putting contest finals are scheduled to begin at 4:30 P.M. and will be followed by a general rules and information meeting and then the evening meal from the Heatherhurst snack bar.
Friday play is on the Crag course consisting of a nine-hole scramble and nine-holes modified alternate shot. Saturday play is on the Brae course and consists of nine holes one better ball net and nine holes of both balls net.
A USGA handicap is required from each and every entrant in the Invitational. Assuming a full field of 72 teams prizes for the putting contest will have value in excess of $500 and each of the nine flights of eight teams will have prizes of $200, $100, and $50 for the first, second and third place.
Bear Trace hosts Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab tourney
The 15th Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Alumni Golf Tournament will be played on May 22nd at the award winning Bear Trace Golf Course. Gather a team and join the unlimited fun that includes greens fees, golf cart, continental breakfast, lunch, free beverages, goodie bag, prizes and an inclement weather guarantee—all for the low entry fee of $60.00. Entry forms are available at most of the local courses.
