Governor Haslam To Visit Fairfield Glade May 28

Governor Bill Haslam will visit Fairfield Glade at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 to publicly sign new legislation involving Tennessee’s Hall Income Tax. The signing will be at the Community and Conference Center on Stonehenge Drive and the public is invited to attend.
The new legislation is House Bill 192, which was initiated by Representative Cameron Sexton, Cumberland County’s representative in the State Legislature. The bill will raise the income exemption level of Hall Income Tax single or joint filers over the age of 65.
