“Wow! What a voice!” These were the words expressed by a recent audience in Punta Gorda, FL for March’s featured entertainer, Terry Henderson, who will be appearing at the Fairfield Glade Resident Homeowners Association meeting on March 25 at The Legends.
Growing up in Lima, Ohio, he and his 11 siblings spent time singing “on the front porch” and at family gatherings.
Locally you can find him as a karaoke host at Red’s Ale House , The Blind Zebra, and Cannon’s.
Henderson has quickly become one of the area’s favorites and he always gets the crowds cheering with his renditions of “Mustang Sally” or “Only You.”
His first appearance at the Palace Theatre was with DSquared Productions and also with Dennis Donald in Malt Shop Memories followed by Return of the Rat Pack and Mirror Lake Bashes.
For a great evening of song fest, you will not want to miss this program. Get your reservations in now.
Reservations need to be made by Thursday, March 21, to Ted or Barbara LaVaque at 459-2359, or email to [email protected]
Note that if you make a reservation and do not attend, you are responsible for payment of the meal cost. RHA must guarantee these reservations on March 21.
Late reservations cannot be accepted. They encourage you to be a part of this group that is now celebrating its 40th anniversary! Cost of the meal is $17 per person, which includes the tax and tip.
Your gourmet meal for March 25 will feature pecan crusted chicken breast with cherry sauce and all the side items.
If you have not renewed your membership for this year, you can do that now for $12. You can make your payment for the meals and dues at the door on March 25.
For easier reference for the treasurer, we are asking whenever possible you write a check for your meals and dues. If making a reservation by email and you do not receive a confirmation, please do it again or call to make sure that all is OK.
When making your reservations, you can make up your own table of six or eight, by making reservations for your whole group at the same time. RHA members and guests enjoy a Social Hour from 5-6 P.M. Dinner at 6 P.M.
Guests attending for the first time can just pay $6 for the entertainment plus the cost of the meal. If you want to join on your next visit, it will just cost you another $6 to become a member.
This is the third program out of ten that will be offered during the year – no program in May or December.
It is a great place to meet your neighbors, enjoy a fine meal and wonderful entertainment. Most meetings conclude by 8 P.M.
The Constitution and By-Laws of RHA have not been revised for many years and attendees will see suggested revisions on your table.
The RHA invites everyone to look them over and they will be voted on at the April meeting. They think that you will find them to be worthy of revision.
Men are requested to wear jackets; ties are optional. Everyone is asked to wear a name badge to help everyone get acquainted. A Name Badge will be provided if you do not have one, or you will be able to buy a special RHA badge.
RHA meets the fourth Monday of each month, except May and December. A lot of great programs are in the offing and the group encourages you to be a part of this organization. You will be glad you did.
Headlining the program for April will be Patrice Puglise who will provide some great music plus a great personal story that you won’t want to miss.
June will feature our own Keith Walther, publisher and editor of the The Vista with a program you won’t believe; July will feature an endearing young lady, Taylor Ware, from Brentwood
She appeared here several years ago as a yodeler and is now a junior in high school ready to provide you with great entertainment.
Don’t delay… Make your reservations now!
