It is that time of year when Fairfield Glade residents are given the opportunity to join with their neighbors in funding the on-going fight against cancer.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) regional office in Cookeville works closely with the Fairfield Glade Advisory Committee to be sure your contributions are designated and credited to the generosity of Glade residents.
The ACS Advisory Committee’s theme since 2007 has been “Neighbors Together Against Cancer,” but they have a newer addition to that theme. “Look for the Blue Envelope” is their way of reminding you that this month you will receive a mailing. Inside will be a letter and a blue envelope.

You may mail your contribution or drop it off at the Village Mall, where our committee members will be available from Monday, April 23 through Friday, April 27 to receive your blue envelope. You may also mail your contribution but they enjoy thanking you in person.

We continue to lose too many friends and relatives to cancer and to forms of the disease that defy our best research and technology.
Through the years we have shared the latest information about cancer and the fight against this disease that maims and kills.
