Neighbors Together Against Cancer”s 2012 Fairfield Glade campaign is well under way.
Only the first week of results is available as this article is written.
You might consider this merely a reminder if you have not made your annual donation to defeat cancer.
They have asked Glade residents to “Look for the Blue Envelope,” that is enclosed with a cover letter explaining the direct support to cancer patients in our area; such as 111 nights of lodging provided to Cumberland County patients at Hope Lodge in Nashville.
This is only one aspect of a long list of items that help defeat cancer.
Consider this information an update to assist you in considering your response to their annual campaign to defeat cancer.
First week total for 2011 was $6,874 with 235 contributors averaging $29.25 per contribution. First week total for 2012 is $6,068 with 224 contributors averaging $27.09.
The group’s campaign will last six weeks but in reality it is a year-round effort to do everything possible to defeat cancer.
They have asked Glade residents to “Look for the Blue Envelope,” to make their annual contribution to this on-going war to defeat cancer. They have learned that, try as they might, not everyone in the Glade receives their letter or their “Blue envelope;” or it might have been misplaced or accidentally discarded.
This is your chance to feel good about helping to defeat cancer: Send your check to “Neighbors Together Against Cancer” or NTAC; P.O. Box 1889, Fairfield Glade, TN 38558.
The envelope can be white or any color you chose; your check in any amount will make a difference.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Fairfield Glade Advisory Council to the ACS thank you for your continuing support in our war against cancer.
