This will be the 9th Annual Dinner/Auction event for KOTR as their major Fundraiser. The Mission for Kids on the Rise is to help children reach their full potential covering literacy, learning and life. A mentor is assigned to each child to help improve self-esteem, keep him/her interested to stay in school and enhance their positive development.
Tickets for the Dinner/Auction are $35.00 per person. They are available from any KOTR mentor, Board member or office located at 348 Taylor Street. Please call the office at 459-2388 and set a time for your convenience. In addition, a supply of tickets is on sale at the First National Bank of Tennessee main office at 1386 Main Street in Crossville or 5011 Peavine Road in Fairfield Glade. Ticket price includes the cost of the Community and Convention Center rental, dinner and “City Lights” Band and a small donation to KOTR.
KOTR currently has 60 mentors working with 60 children who are entering into productive adulthood. However, there are 27 young children still waiting to be assigned to a much-needed mentor. You are invited to learn more about the Kids on the Rise Program and consider sharing a portion of your life with a child in need. Please call Executive Director Donna King at 459-2388 and arrange for a meeting to answer any of your questions.
