Nick Reed has lived in Crossville all of his life. He graduated from Cumberland County High School and now has a degree in Exercise Science from Tennessee Tech University.
He and his wife, Casey, live in Crossville. Nick’s favorite things to do are motorcycle and hunt.
And now, he is also a member of the Fairfield Glade Rotary Club.
His Lions Club membership sponsor is Dan Richardson.
Nick’s age will make him the youngest member of the Glade Lions Club.
“It is great to get some younger blood in our Club.” Richardson said. “We encourage Nick to become active in our many club projects and add his ideas to how we can do more to help our club serve the community”.
The FFG Lions Club has been serving the Cumberland County community since March 22, 1976. Ongoing projects include Sight and Hearing testing of over 5,000 children in Cumberland County Schools each year, Vision Screening of children aged 1-6, eye exam and glasses for needy adults, used eye glass and hearing aid collection, high school senior scholarships and computer printer cartridge recycling. 100% of all donations from fundraisers are used to carry out these Programs. Dues alone are used for all administrative expenses.
Many Club members are needed to carry out these valuable community projects. New members are always encouraged to join and volunteer their time to help others. The Lions Club will start having only one meeting a month beginning in July. They have dinner meetings on the third Monday of each month. Guest speakers from around the community are invited and committee reports are provided to keep all members informed.
The meeting is held at the Druid Hills Legends Restaurant starting at 6 P.M.
Please call Membership Chairman Jerry McBride at 707-0438 for additional information and membership application. The FFG Lions Club is one of the largest clubs in the State of Tennessee and one of the most active.

Each Travelogue will have a live narrator by the person that filmed the presentation. It’s a great way to travel the world without leaving Crossville and see places you would never see if traveling on your own.
