Youngsters, and some adults, rejoice when a measure of snow falls here in Fairfield Glade. There is no doubt, the snow is a beautiful sight on the trees and rolling landscape here. However, as the photos demonstrate, not everyone is excited to see the white stuff. The chipmunk below is one the ‘snow haters”— as was the small bird in the photo top right. And these flowers below right can’t catch a break! Days after temperatures in the 60s and then the snow comes? Confusing, no doubt.
