This grand bird of prey was photographed near Lake Dartmoor recently by Fairfield Glade resident Jim Rose, who used an Olympus C-740. Back in December of 2012, The Vista ran two photos of a bald eagle taken by Rosemary Wells. Whether it is the same bird or not, a sighting of a bald eagle is always exciting and rare.
