Fairfield glade Lions Club members have received their Reverse Raffle tickets and will be contacting those who purchased last year.
In addition, tickets are available for sale at Regions Bank at 175 Miller Avenue in Crossville and 6837 Peavine Road in FFG as well as First National Bank of Tennessee at 1386 North Main in Crossville and 5011 Peavine Road in FFG. Only 500 tickets will be sold again this year at $50.00 each. The drawing will take place at the FFG Community and Conference Center on Thursday August 7, 2014.
Doors will open at 6:30 P.M. and the drawing will start at 7 P.M. Gordon Stack from Radio Station 102.5 WILD COUNTRY will serve as our master of ceremonies again this year.
The Grand Prize for the last ticket drawn will be an $8,000 create your own San Francisco & Wine Country Delights 8 day Vacation Package offered by Trafalgar OR $7,000 cash. The package includes 3 nights in San Francisco with a guided tour from the Golden Gate Bridge to vibrant China Town before heading to the renowned Napa Valley Wine Country to sample fine wines.
The next to last ticket drawn is for a $2,500 Vacation Package to the Biltmore OR $2,000 cash. The second from last ticket drawn is for $1,500 Fairfield Gift Card OR $1,000 cash. Up to 40 other prizes will be randomly awarded throughout the drawing.
In addition, there will be a 50/50 Drawing and the First National Bank of Tennessee Cash Machine will be used from time to time using the 50/50 ticket numbers. Last but not least will be a “2nd Chance” for all non-winners after the Grand Prize drawing for $100.00 cash donated by Progressive Savings Bank.
Complete details are printed on each ticket including requirements for the top three winners. You do not have to attend the drawing to win but you will miss out on some fun and entertainment. Free snacks and a cash bar will be available at the Conference Center.
Income from the raffle will be approximately $12,000. It will be distributed to the following Lions programs:
• Sufficient funds will be sent to our local Lions District 12-0 Sight Service to provide for cataract surgery for needy individual(s) in Cumberland County.
• FFG Lions Student Scholarship Program for local students.
• Lions White Cane Program that supports on going work of Leader Dog for the Blind; Learning Ally; District 12-0 Sight Service; World service for the Blind; Tennessee School for the Blind and Tennessee School for the Deaf.
