Vista Caption Contest … and the winner is
Last week, The Vista ran this photo and asked residents to email us with a caption of what the female deer was whispering to the young buck.
We received dozens of entries and we enjoyed readng all of them and the clever wit of our Glade residents.
We narrowed the field to three captions and here they are:
“ You know ‘deer’, who ever said there was no such thing as a free lunch has never been to Fairfield Glade.”
—Kathy Molenda
“There’s the golfer again that thinks no one sees him cheating”.
— Tara Mayo
“I know she’s bending over watering her flowers in her nighty, but you can stop looking now.”
— Bob Culbreath
And the winner selected is Tara Mayo (wild applause).
Thanks to all our participants — it was fun and we will try to do it again in the future.
My wife and I liked this one: “With the ‘Negative’ impact we have on some folks’ plants, do you think the Board will ban us, too?”
