For The Vista
DSquared Productions (D2) second Voices of Vegas was another resounding success and they are now selling tickets for their May 6th production. Each show in this series is completely different! The music, performers, staging, dinner, etc. each cover a different time period.
For this show, you will hear the lovely Ashley Krohn giving tribute to Celine Dion among others; Terry Henderson (the Voice) will please you with anything he sings; the incomparable Terri Utsey will give tribute to Bette Midler and more; Cheyenne Graff may give tribute to Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, LeAnn Rimes or other female country singers that have played Vegas. Dennis Donald may cover Bob Dylan, Bob Segar, Eagles, Elton John, Barry Manilow or any of the era’s male singers.
Once again Frank Saxton on the sax will be playing for your listening pleasure during dinner as well as Jason Sanders on the keyboard.
Dinner will be served family style. The menu for this dinner will consist of hearty meat loaf patties, fluffy baked potatoes (with butter, sour cream, bacon bits and green onions), sweet corn off the cob, jelled salad, rolls, Dixie’s surprise dessert and coffee, tea or lemonade.
Where can you get quality entertainment, lovely costuming and staging, great food, free coffee, tea, lemonade, and popcorn or fifty cent can drinks all for $25?
This has got to be the best entertainment deal in all of Eastern Tennessee and it’s right here in your backyard!
If you don’t believe it, you have a chance to find out for yourself. D2’s May 6th show will feature music of Vegas entertainers from the 80’s to present time and will take place at the Fairfield Glade Multi-Purpose Building on Lakeview Dr.
Just a little about these outstanding performers:
Frank Saxton and Jason Sanders are both superb musicians and they will set the mood for the show during dinner.
Both men play several instruments; Frank plays sax, clarinet, flute, keyboard and others; Jason plays keyboard, fiddle, dobro, harmonica and more.
They both are singer/songwriters and arrangers and both have spent considerable time working in Vegas.
Dennis Donald is an actor, singer, musician, recording artist and co-founder of D2.
Ashley Krohn began at the Palace in Crossville with D2 at the tender age of 18. She has really honed her skills as a singer and has been writing and recording as well. You will fall in love with her.
Terry Henderson began at the Palace in 2009 with D2 in Malt Shop Memories and stopped the show with his rendition of Mustang Sally. You’ll enjoy his smooth voice especially when he does the Platters Only You.
Terri Utsey is a late comer to performing however you would never know she wasn’t born singing and performing. She is fantastic.
Last but not least is the youngest member in the show, just turned 14 year old Cheyenne Graff.
Graff was recruited by D2 at the age of 12 and her natural ability to perform is amazing. She will be covering some of her favorite country singers that have appeared in Vegas in the last few years.
Tickets for the show are $25 each which includes tax. There will be a tip jar available for the catering/serving staff.
If you are unable to have dinner, you may buy tickets for the show only at $18 each.
This is a BYOB event and a bottle of wine from Stonehaus Winery will be given as a door prize during dinner.
On May 6, doors will open at 5:30 P.M. and dinner starts at 6. Showtiome will be at 7 P.M.
