Food City plays host to classic car show

There may have been overcast skies Saturday at Food City, but Fairfield Glade residents opened their garages and brought out some of the shiniest and colorful classic cars around. The parking lot was full of enthusiasts — both owners of the vehicles and spectators who wanted a glimpse and to think back on the good old days. Vehicles of every make and model were present. The photo on the left features (from left to right) a ‘52 MG TD, a ‘58 MG Midget, a ‘73 MGB, and a ‘58 Plymouth. Pictured below left is a beautiful baby blue Corvette. Below it and to the right are a purple ‘51 Plymouth Custom (California Style) and an ‘81 DeLorean (made famous by the Back to the Future movies).
