For The Vista
A young professional who’s literally helping build the future of Fairfield Glade has just achieved national recognition for his work.
On March 20, Isaac Zuercher, the president and co-founder of Zurich Homes — right here on Peavine Road just outside Fairfield Glade — was named to the 2014 Professional Builder “40 Under 40” list.
The award is given annually to recognize what the magazine describes as “the young superstars of homebuilding,” an honor that Zuercher is grateful to receive.
“I’m really honored to receive this award from Professional Builder,” he said. “My number one goal is making the client happy, but of course it’s always nice to be recognized by your peers in the industry.
“And even though the award is given out to individuals, I have to give credit to my phenomenal team at Zurich Homes. I couldn’t do it without all their hard work and dedication.”
According to the magazine website, the list’s honorees “represent the next generation of leadership and innovation in home building.”
A design-build firm with the majority of new builds centered in and around Fairfield Glade, Zurich Homes has built a local reputation for quality workmanship, unique architectural styles and excellent customer satisfaction. The majority of homes Zuercher’s company builds are custom-fit to the client’s lifestyle; Zurich customers have a say in everything from the layout of the bathroom to the color and style of the dining room walls.
Along with his father, Stan (who still serves as head of construction), he established Zurich Homes in 2005 and has since constructed over 50 homes in the area, even in the midst of a serious housing market downturn. He has built a team of seven employees — including a project manager, an architectural designer and an interior designer — who have all tailored their skills to the specific design needs of Fairfield Glade residents.
The company has also specialized in energy efficient building methods, meaning that their homes are also available in green. A number of low-income families have also benefited from having Zurich Homes as a fellow community member: the company has so far sponsored three Habitat for Humanity “blitz” builds.
The Zurich Homes office is located at 44 Peavine Plaza #104 just off of Peavine Road.
